Video game producer, Toshimichi Mori, recently sat down for an interview with Weekly Famitsu magazine, where he talked about the latest addition to his popular fighting game series, Blazblue: Central Fiction. In that very interview, he said that the story of Blazblue will finally meet its conclusion.

In that interview, he was asked about a sequel, and to that, he told Famitsu that players will understand when they play the game’s story mode, though he stated that he would eventually want to do updates and tweak or adjust some characters, even adding a few new characters if there is demand for them.

In that interview, he also stated that unlike Chronophantasma, there will be no “EXTEND” or complete version, as the story will be ending in Central Fiction. He said that they aim to make the game playable for a long time.

He then talked about moving on from Blazblue and admitted that he plans to do a new title that is not related to Blazblue and that it won’t be a fighting game. The game gets released in Japan today, October 6, while an English version is on its way next month, on November 1, 2016. It will be available for PS3 and PS4 consoles.
