Kyoto Animation has been hyping Violet Evergarden for a while now, but not much has been known about the project. We know they will be adapting Kana Akatsuki’s novels into an anime project, but we still don’t know what kind of anime project. Now, MiracleBus, a managing company for composers has listed two of their talents to be working on Violet Evergarden, and they listed it as a TV anime.
They listed Evan Call as the one handling the music, while Takahiro Ikeda is the music director. However, the listing has added a bit of a confusion as to when this new KyoAni anime will exactly air. According to Kyoto Animation’s own listing, they will be holding a PREVIEW screening of the anime in October 21, 2017. October is usually when the Fall 2017 anime season begins, which is also the final anime season of the year. Who knows? Maybe the TV anime would have a late premiere? As of now, that much isn’t clear yet, and a lot of mystery still surrounds Violet Evergarden.
Here is the anime’s story:
Auto Memories Doll.
It’s been quite a while since that name caused a fuss. Originally invented by Professor Orland solely for his beloved wife, Auto Memories Dolls eventually spread out into the world, and a machine that allows people to rent out the dolls was also created.
“I will run as fast as I can to wherever my customer desires. I am the Auto Memories Doll, Violet Evergarden.”
A girl who almost appears to have popped out of a fairy tale with her blonde hair and blue eyes said this with her inorganic beauty and sweet voice.
