The Irregular at Magic High School movie to hit Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and more
Brace yourselves Southeast Asia, because we’re about to get some overpowered Onii-sama action soon, because Odex Private Limited is bringing us THE IRREGULAR AT MAGICAL HIGH SCHOOL: The Girl Who Calls the Stars. According to Odex’s announcement, they will be releasing the movie for:
- Hong Kong
They also revealed that the releases for these countries won’t just be regular cinema releases, but there will be some fan screenings as well. Odex will reveal more details in the days ahead, so stay tuned.
The movie’s story happens during Spring Break, where Miyuki and Tatsuya are vacationing in their villa on Ogasawara Island. However, their peaceful vacation is short lived, as a girl named Kokoa appears, and she has escaped from a nearby Naval base.
The movie will premiere in Japan on June 17, 2017. 8-bit will be animating the movie, taking over for Madhouse, which animated the TV anime. Risako Yoshida, who served as a storyboarder for the TV anime, as well as a unit director, is directing the film.
