Japan is known for its strong gaming community, and for good reason. The gamers are dedicated and often fierce, and they certainly don’t hold back on their opinions if a game is good or not.

Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, recently held a poll and asked Japanese gamers what is their favorite action-adventure game. Each person was allowed to vote for up to three titles, but could only vote once per title. A total of 588 people voted in the poll, 68% of whom were men, while 27% were women. The rest didn’t disclose their gender. Here are the Top 20:

20. Shadow of the Colossus (PS2/PS3)

19. The Last of Us (PS3/PS4)

18. Mega Man Legends (N64/PS1/PSP/PC)

17. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PS3/PS4/Xbox 360/Xbox One/PC)

16. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (PS4/Xbox One/PC)

15. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (PS2/PS3/Vita/Xbox 360)

14. Resident Evil 2 (N64/GC/PS1/DC/PC)

13. Siren (PS2)

That’s certainly a lot of Yakuza games, with four in total, including the #1 ranked Yakuza Zero! The Japanese sure love their Yakuza games. Legend of Zelda also did well, with three entries into the Top 20, along with Resident Evil.
