Attack on Titan ‘s 3D Maneuver Gear may be one of the most iconic equipment in anime right now, and a huge part of it is the blade which is used to kill titans. Now, the the Stagmer brothers of Baltimore Knife and Sword seek to replicate that integral part of the 3D Maneuver Gear in their latest episode:

Using some high-quality 1095 High-carbon steel, the blacksmiths cut out the blade and then sharpened and polished it. But the real tricky part is in the handle. In the manga, the blades are disposable, as users can just get rid of them if they’re not sharp anymore. The handles themselves can eject the blades so they can be replaced with newer ones. The blacksmiths also replicated this as they can eject the blade as well. And in the end, they finished the blade itself and they went on to cut stuff up. Hey, they’re not titans but I bet that was fun.

Previously, the Stagmer brothers have forged Erza Scarlet’s default sword and armorSaber’s ExcaliburDracule ‘Hawk Eyes’ Mihawk’s Yoru from One Piece InuYasha’s Tessaiga and Ryuuko Matoi’s half-scissor blade from Kill la Kill… out of real scissors. They also forged Asuna’s rapier, Lambent Light and Future Trunks’ sword from Dragon Ball.

And speaking of Attack on Titan, the folks over at Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force subsidiary announced the new Attack on Titan 2 game for the PS4 and Xbox ONE. They also confirmed that it will have a better frame rate if played using PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

The game will be a sequel to the original Attack on Titan console game for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita, and will have new gameplay mechanics. More details about this sequel game will be announced in the days to come.
