When the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie premieres in Japan this December, several select IMAX and 4DX theaters will be screening it. Now, the staff have revealed a brand new trailer, and it teases what lies beyond the Gate of Truth, along with “Truth” itself sitting in front of it.

Aside from the new trailer which teases the Gate of Truth, the staff have also revealed a couple of new still images. The top image features Roy Mustang while the bottom image features the “Truth.”

The international release for the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie has finally been confirmed, and they will show the movie in over 190 countries and territories around the world.

The movie is based on the hit manga by Hiromu Arakawa, and it will follow Edward Elric, played by Ryousuke Yamada, and his brother Alphonse. It also stars Tsubasa Honda as Winry Rockbell, while Dean Fujioka plays Roy Mustang. As for Alphonse, he will be a completely CGI character. The film is directed by live-action Ping Pong film director, Fumihiko Sori, and was previously filmed in Italy.

And when the movie premieres on December 1, several participating movie theaters will be distributing a special Fullmetal Alchemist manga written and illustrated by FMA and Silver Spoon creator, Hiromi Arakawa!
