Kakegurui is getting its own live-action drama, which stars live-action Saki and AnoHana’s Minami Hamabe as Yumeko Jabami. Now, the staff have released the drama’s OP, which features its theme song, “Ichikabachika” (High-stakes) by Re:versed.

Actress Minami Hamabe has previously played Menma in the live-action AnoHana TV drama, as well as Saki in the live-action Saki movie and TV drama series. Because she has previously played sweet and innocent characters, she acknowledges that her new role as Yumeko will be a whole different animal from her previous roles. She did admit that she’s excited to give the role her all. You can also check out the other members of the  drama’s cast.

The drama premiered on Japanese TV last January 14, 2018.

MAPPA previously animated the manga for a Netflix TV anime last year. The TV anime adaptation will then be released globally in English this 2018. The staff also confirmed that Season 2 for the TV anime is indeed happeningSet in the prestigious Hyakkaou Private Academy where gambling is everything, the school’s brutal gambling and debt system suddenly gets rocked with the arrival of a new student named Yumeko Jabami.
