Tite Kubo’s Bleach is getting a live-action movie adaptation. And now, Warner Bros. Japan has started streaming a new trailer which teases the very first footage from the movie. It also gives us the first look at the movie’s action, as Ichigo fights a Hollow.

The video features actor Souta Fukushi as Ichigo Kurosaki, while Hana Sugisaki plays Rukia Kuchiki. And of course, there’s also a CGI Hollow for Ichigo to fight.

The movie will be following the “Substiture Shinegami” arc from Tite Kubo’s internationally-bestselling manga, which of course is the very first major arc in the franchise. It features Ichigo doing Rukia’s Shinegami duties after he accidentally “steals” her powers. This forces Rukia to live among humans and even go to Ichigo’s school.

Souta Fukushi plays Ichigo, while live-action Gantz movie director, Shinsuke Sato, directs it. The staff also revealed that the movie will premiere in July 20, 2018.
