In Japan, voice actors are treated like pop stars, and really enjoy a huge celebrity status in the country. Now, the organizers of the 12th Annual Seiyu Awards have revealed which of these seiyuu are truly the best for the past year. Their official Twitter page has announced the winners, and they are:

Best Actor: Toshiyuki Toyonaga
(Durarara!!’s Mikado Ryuugamine and Bungou Stray Dogs’ Junichirou Tanizaki)

Best Actress: Tomoyo Kurosawa
(The [email protected]: Cinderella Girls’ Miria Asagi and Sakura Quest’s Erika Suzuki)

Best Supporting Actor: Junichi Suwabe
(Fate/Apocrypha’s Siegfried/Saber of Black and Killing Bites’ Narrator)

Best Supporting Actress

Ayane Sakura
(The Eccentric Family’s Kaisei and My Hero Academia’s Ochako Uraraka)

Saori Oonishi
(Shokugeki no Soma’s Arisa Arato and Eromanga Sensei’s Muramasa Senjuu)

*Aside from both of them winning the Best Supporting Actress award, both Ayane Sakura and Saori Oonishi also both win the Personality Award.
