Fairy Tail has already ended, however, Hiro Mashima is finally back with a new manga. And now, Kodansha has revealed what this new work is, and its titled Eden’s Zero.
As he promised previously, Plue, who he introduced in RAVE Master, is going to be in the manga. However, the new artwork surprised many, as Happy from Fairy Tail also seems to be in there as well.
The new manga will debut worldwide on June 26, and Kodansha announced that they will be releasing it in five languages. These are Chinese, English, French, Korean, and Thai. The English release itself will also be available online via Crunchyroll Manga, comiXology, and Kindle (other outlets to be announced).
Kodansha also revealed a special message by Hiro Mashima himself to the fans:
I’m bringing you my next series pretty soon!
I can assure you it’s going to be full of surprises and excitement.
Please look forward to it on June 26!
This follows up his announcement last December, where he teased a few details about his work. He previously said that this new manga will be:
- It will be a new form of fantasy
- Jokes will be quite challenging
- Much like Rave Master and Fairy Tail, Plue will be appearing too!
Right now, not much is still known about Eden’s Zero. However, expect more announcements as we head on to June.
Mashima launched Fairy Tail back in 2006, and never looked back. His manga ran for over 10 years, which is really something, as most manga don’t even last more than five issues. As of now, this latest manga still remains a huge mystery, and only time will tell what it will be about.
