It looks like we’re getting more Re:Zero after the upcoming Memory Snow OVA. Kadokawa recently released a new video announcing the OVA, which is titled Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Zenjitsu-tan: Hyouketsu no Kizuna. Hyouketsu no Kizuna means Frozen Bonds.

The new OVA itself will serve as a prequel of sorts for the entire series, and will detail the meeting between Emilia and Puck. It’s based on Tappei Nagatsuki’s prequel novel, which came bundled with the anime’s first volume Blu-ray release. It will be the second OVA for the series.

Unfortunately, the staff didn’t reveal any further announcements about this second OVA. It looks like we would have to wait a bit further for more announcements, huh?

And speaking of OVAs the first one, memory Snow, will premiere in Japanese theaters on October 6, 2018. It will focus mainly on Subaru and Emilia, but will also feature the others enjoying themselves in the snow.
