After animation studio, Production IMS went bankrupt, many wondered what would happen to the Date A Live anime. Well, as it turns out, it seems that the anime will indeed continue. In fact, JC Staff will be taking over the animation production for Date A Live III. They also revealed a new teaser visual featuring the “Seventh Spirit” Natsumi. Ayumi Mano will be voicing her.
The announcement also confirmed that sweet ARMS will be performing the OP sing, while Eri Yamazaki is doing the ED song. Keitaro Motonaga is returning to direct the anime, with Hideki Shirane also returning for the series composition. However, the anime will be having a new character designer in Koji Watanabe. Previously, he worked as a key animator for Date A Live and Date A Live II. The cast from the previous seasons are also returning as well.
They made the announcement during the “Fantasia Bunko Dai Kanshasai 2018” event, which they also live streamed. There, they revealed that the anime is set to premiere in January 2019. Expect the staff to reveal more details about the anime in the days to come.
