After a long 2-year wait, World Trigger is finally coming back! According to Weekly Shounen Jump Magazine, Daisuke Ashihara’s manga will return in their issue #48 on October 29. However, they also revealed that World Trigger will also be moving to a new home after five issues.

According to the Jump announcement, the manga will be running in the magazine for five chapters. It will then move to its new home, Jump Sq., in the magazine’s January 2019 issue. This means that World Trigger has shifted from a weekly manga in Shounen Jump into a monthly manga in Jump Sq. They also revealed that the manga’s Volume 19 release will be on December 4, 2018.

Mangaka Daisuke Ashihara has been having some severe health problems in the past two years. This has resulted in the manga’s long hiatus, which lasted from November 2016. And now that he’s back, expect the battle to intensify!
