After the success of the Seishun Buta Yarou TV anime, the anime adaptation of Hajime Kamoshida’s light novels continues with a new movie. It adapts the author’s Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yume-Miru Shoujo no Yume wo Minai (The Young Pig-Rascal Isn’t Dreaming of a Dreaming Girl) light novel. And now, the anime’s twitter page has releaseda new trailer for the upcoming movie.

The movie will continue where the TV anime left off. However, it will focus more on the mysterious Shouko Makinohara, the same girl who saved Sakuta. However, his relationship with her makes his relationship with his girlfriend, Mai Sakurajima, a bit more complicated than it is. The movie will be depicting when their feelings and wishes intersect.
The movie will premiere in early Summer 2019. Much of the cast are returning, and so is the staff. This includes director Souichi Masui and character designer Satomi Tamura. CloverWorks will once again be producing the animation as well.
