Kana Ueda is best known for voicing Rin Tohsaka in the Fate franchise. And because she has voiced plenty of popular characters, she’s a pretty in-demand seiyuu. Unfortunately, her agency, I’m Enterprise, announced that she has recently been hospitalized due to poor health. They did not specify as to what her condition is, unfortunately.

The agency noted that she’s already improving. However, she had to cancel a few events in order to rest and concentrate on her treatment. This includes the Fate/Grand Order U.S.A. Tour 2019 event in Los Angeles among other things.

Fans might know Ueda for her other non-Fate-related works as well. This includes voicing Hayate Yagami in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Anastasia Hoshin in Re:Zero, and Momo Kawashima in Girls und Panzer. We wish her a speedy recovery.
