One Punch Man is certainly coming into April as one of the most hyped anime of the season. And now, Bandai Namco Arts as released a new English-subtitled PV, whichh also previews JAM Project’s new OP song for the series, “Seijaku no Apostle”.
The anime will be making its premiere on April 9, 2019, but before that, they will be airing a TV special on April 2. Here is the anime’s previously-revealed key visual:
Several sites will also be streaming the anime on the same day as that April 9 broadcast, and they include Nico Nico Live Stream, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. They also announced international streaming for sites like Australia and New Zealand’s AnimeLab, Germany and Austria’s Anime on Demand, and China’s Youku.
Finally, the website also announced that Saitama’s seiyuu himself, Makoto Furukawa, will be performing the anime’s ED song, “Chizu ga Nakutemo Modoru kara.”
JC Staff will be the anime’s new studio, taking over the project from Madhouse. Chikara Sakurai, who worked as an episode director for Naruto Shippuden, will now be the anime’s new director. However, much of the cast will be reprising their roles from the anime’s first season. Finally, the anime’s official website also confirmed that JAM Project, which performed the first season’s OP song, will also be performing the second season’s OP as well.
