Before Shokugeki no Soma, there was Cooking Master Boy. The 90’s cooking anime had heated battles, and it was all about cooking! And now, Shin Chuuka Ichiban, or Cooking Master Boy as people in English knew it, is back with a new anime. And now, the staff have revealed a brand newPV for this latest anime remake:
Based on Etsushi Ogawa’s classic manga, Cooking Master Boy follows Mao, a young Chinese chef who aims to be the finest chef in all of China. He journeys all over the country to hone and perfect his skills in order to inherit the title his mother used to have, Master Chef. And no, Gordon Ramsay won’t be in the anime. Here is its new key visual:
So far, the staff didn’t reveal much information yet, though NAS will be producing the anime in cooperation with Production I.G. As for its director, Itsuro Kawasaki will be at the helm of the project. Expect the staff to reveal more details in the days to come.
