With the popularity of outdoor anime like Yuru Camp (camping) and Encouragement of Climb (hiking), yet another outdoor activity is getting an anime based on it. And yes folks, it’s gonna be about fishing! Young Champion Retsu magazine has revealed that Yasuyuki Kosaka’s Houkago Teibou Nisshi manga is getting a TV anime! The manga’s creator, Kosaka, even released a new illustration celebrating the announcement:
The manga follows Hina, a girl who likes indoor activities like arts and crafts. However, as she enters high school, she moves into a seaside town where she meets a senpai named Kuroiwa who invites her to join the school’s “Embankment Club”. The problem is that the club’s activities involves fishing, and she hates sea creatures…
So far, the magazine has not yet revealed any further details, such as release window, staff and cast. However, do expect them to reveal more details in the days to come.
