The Seven Deadly Sins are back with a new TV anime! Its title is The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods, and it will premiere in Fall 2019. The new anime will continue where the previous one left off, and it says that it will be heading towards the story’s “climax”. They even revealed a brand new key visual:
Studio DEEN will now be animating this new series, taking over for A-1 Pictures. It will also have a new staff, with Susumu Nishizawa now serving as director. Its new script writer will be Love and Lies’ Rintarou Ikeda.
Meanwhile, the announcement also revealed that the main cast will be reprising their roles. This includes Yuuki Kaji as Meliodas, Sora Amamiya as Elizabeth, and Misaki Kuno as Hawk. Other cast members include Aoi Yuuki as Diane, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ban, Jun Fukuyama as King, Yuuhei Takagi as Gowther, Maaya Sakamoto as Merlin, and Tomokazu Sugita as Escanor. Expect the staff to reveal more details about the new anime in the days to come.
