World’s first 6 metre-tall Lapras to appear is Singapore’s first Pokemon GO Safari Zone event at Sentosa
Are you ready Singapore? Sentosa will be hosting the first-ever Pokemon GO Safari Zone event in Southeast Asia tomorrow, and it promises plenty of Pokemon-related events. And now, Pokemon’s Singapore portal has announced that one of the highlights will be a 6-metre inflatable Lapras that will appear along Palawan Beach! Of course, Lapras is one of Pokemon Center Singapore’s two mascots, the other being Celebi, so it’s only fitting that Lapras makes an appearance at the event.
There will also be Pokemon photo points spanning the Sentosa Boardwalk to Tanjong Beach, as well as other activities. It will also feature a meet-and-greet session around 11.30am, 2.30pm and 4pm every day during the event period along Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach. Oh, and of course, you can also buy Pokemon plushies from a special pop-up store at Palawan Green. And finally, they will also have an exhibition of Pokemon shirts using the 151 original species.
The event will happen at Sentosa from 18 to 22 April 2019, so save those dates!
