As soon as they announced that Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds was voicing Pikachu in Detective Pikachu, we were kinda expecting him to do some trolling. Guess what? He did! The actor posted the “full picture” online via YouTube, and you can check out the full 1-and-a-half hour movie right here for free:

As the movie starts, you can see the watermark R. Reynolds in the top left corner, indicating that the actor really wants people to know that it was him all along! Such a despicable thing leaking the full movie online…

Ryan Reynolds will be voicing the titular Detective Pikachu, who talks, has no memory, and is addicted to caffeine. Meanwhile Justice Smith plays Tim Goodman, the movie’s other lead. Together, the two of them embark on a journey to find Tim’s father. The movie will also star Ken Watanabe, Kathryn Newton, Bill Nighy, Suki Waterson, Chris Geere, Omar Chaparro, and Rita Ora. It will premiere in the US on May 10, 2019.

Rob Letterman is directing the movie, while Guardians of the Galaxy’s Nicole Perlman is writing the script. It is based on the popular Nintendo 3DS game of the same name.
