American TV series, Prison Break, is quite popular in Japan, and 14 years after it first premiered in the US, it’s getting a manga adaptation! The manga is now available via Piccoma, and it adapts the story of the TV show’s very first season.

Hikosuke Soyama is responsible for the manga’s illustrations and artwork, and they even released a few sample pages from the manga adaptation below:

The American TV series stars Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield, as well as Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows. In the story of the first season, Miller’s character of  Michael Scofield tries to break his brother, Lincoln Burrows, out of prison after he has been framed. Piccoma has now released four chapters of the manga, and will be releasing even more soon. So, how does the manga adaptation stack up to the original?
