After YEARS of waiting, we finally know when the first episode of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released. During the Final Fantasy VII: A Symphonic Reunion concert, Square Enix revealed that it’s finally happening on March 3, 2020. It will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

Again, this will just be the first episode, as the game will be released in multiple parts. They haven’t revealed how much of the original game’s story will be included in this first part yet, but do expect Square Enix to reveal more details later.

Tetsuya Nomura is returning as Final Fantasy VII Remake’s director, as well as the character designer. And from the looks of things, the designs ain’t as blocky or “sharp” as the originals, if you know what I mean.
