There is a new live-action Tokyo Ghoul movie in the works, and its title is Tokyo Ghoul S. It will introduce us to the live-action version of Shuu Tsukiyama, and will also act as the direct sequel to the first movie. And now, the staff have unveiled three new trailers. There is a 90-second version, a 60-second version, and a 30-second version.

As previously revealed, the second movie will focus on Shuu Tsukiyama’s obsession with Kaneki. Masataka Kubota will be returning as Ken Kaneki for the movie, while Shota Matsuda will be playing Shuu Tsukiyama in the film. Tohka’s new actress, Maika Yamamoto, replaces former actress Fumika Shimizu who left the world of acting to become a priestess for an infamous Japanese cult.

The movie will premiere on July 19, 2019 in theaters across Japan.
