The San Diego Comic-Con is the biggest geek event on Earth. And now, they’re trying to set a new World Record for Dragon Ball because they are actually doing the World’s Biggest Kamehameha attempt. To be specific, they’re trying to set the record for “the largest gathering of people simultaneously performing the iconic Kamehameha super energy attack move.”. Toei Animation Inc., Funimation, Bluefin, and Bandai are co-organizing the attempt.
They will be holding the attempt at the Marriott Marina Terrace at the Marriot Marquis San Diego hotel at 3:30 p.m local time. The first 1,000 participants will also get a free scouter to scout out the power levels of your opponents. Son Goku’s American voice actor, Sean Schemmel will be leading the crowd in their attempt, while a Guinness World Records appointee will be trying to oversee it.
The San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) will happen at the San Diego Convention Center in California from July 17-20, 2019.
