Haruo Sotozaki will be returning to direct the sequel movie, as well as character designer Akira Matsushima. And yes, ufotable is once again animating it, so expect some beautiful animation sequences! As for the cast, the core main cast will be returning for the film as well. Its title will be Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-Hen (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Train Arc).
Meanwhile, issue #44 of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine has announced that the series is also getting a live-action stage adaptation. The announcement states that it will run in both Tokyo and Hyougo Prefecture. It also revealed that Kenichi Suemitsu will write the script and direct the play, while Shunsuke Wada will compose the music. Not much is still known about the play however.
Expect the staffs of both adaptations to reveal more details about these two projects in the days to come.
