DEMON SLAYER – KIMETSU NO YAIBA ended with a huge cliffhanger, which of course leads to the upcoming DEMON SLAYER – KIMETSU NO YAIBA – The Movie: Mugen Train film. And now, the staff have finally revealed the very first trailer for the movie via the anime’s official Twitter page:

The new trailershows the setting of the movie, which is of course, the titular Mugen Train. It also teases Innosuke enjoying his first train ride, Zenitsu panicking as usual, before finally taking a better look the the Flame Hashira himself, Kyojuro Rengoku. And speaking of whom, they also revealed a new visual featuring him as well:

Haruo Sotozaki will be returning to direct the sequel movie, as well as character designer Akira Matsushima. And yes, ufotable is once again animating it, so expect some beautiful animation sequences! As for the cast, the core main cast will be returning for the film as well.

Meanwhile, issue #44 of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine has announced that the series is also getting a live-action stage adaptation. The announcement states that it will run in both Tokyo and Hyougo Prefecture. It also revealed that Kenichi Suemitsu will write the script and direct the play, while Shunsuke Wada will compose the music. Not much is still known about the play however.

Expect the staffs of both adaptations to reveal more details about these two projects in the days to come.
