Japanese fans vote for the Top 10 Fall 2019 anime/live-action shows based on books/manga they want to see the most in new poll
Te Fall 2019 season has now kicked off, and Japanese e-Book distributor, BookLive!, asked fans which anime or live-action shows that are based on books or manga that they’re most excited to watch. BookLive! users have now submitted their votes and the results are in! Here are the Top 10:
10 – Sherlock Holmes (BBC drama, the one with Benedict Cumberbatch)
9 – City Hunter (French live-action movie)
8 – Psycho-Pass 3
7 – Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fourth Plate
6 – Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life
5 – Kodoku no Gourmet (live-action drama)
4 – The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods
3 – Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld
2 – My Hero Academia Season 4
1 – Chihayafuru Season 3
Given the huge popularity of My hero Academia and Sword Art Online, it’s no surprise these two titles did so well. However, it was Chihayafuru which took the top spot, proving that the series is still near and dear to the hearts of many fans. Two non-Japanese titles also made it, including BBC’s Sherlock Holmes series, which finally hits Japanese airwaves, as well as the French live-action adaptation of City Hunter.
So, which anime are you most excited for this Fall 2019?
