The SGCafe List: 10 Returning anime (New seasons, spin-offs, remakes) we’re excited to see again in Fall 2019!
We’re in a new season already, as Fall 2019 is finally here! And previously, we took a look at the new anime titles for the season, and we’re really excited for them. But now, we’re taking a look at the older titles that will be making their returns this season. Of course, this includes a few beloved titles, a spinoff, and of course, one particular REMAKE.
As Fall 2019 is a season full of sequels, we chose 10 titles for this list, and without further ado, here they are:
My Hero Academia Season 4
Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld
Food Wars: Shokugeki no Souma: The 4th Plate
New Cooking Master Boy
The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods
Psycho-Pass 3
Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front – Babylonia
High Score Girl II
Kono Oto Tomare! 2nd Season
Chaihayafuru 3
Of course, titles like Chihayafuru, SAO, My Hero Academia, Seven Deadly Sins, and Food Wars! are all constant, as with the new Fate/Grand Order anime. These titles don’t need explanations why we included them in our list. However, we’re also excited for other titles as well. For one thing, we who grew up watching Cooking Master Boy on AXN are thrilled to see the food anime make its return in this new remake. And yes, it is facing off with Shokugeki no Souma this season, and both anime are even premiering ON THE SAME DAY, October 11!
As for High Score Girl II, we just love fighting games, and the love triangle story is just awesome too. I wonder how it will end though. And then there’s Kono Oto Tomare, one of this year’s most underrated anime. There’s just something about a group of misfits trying to learn a traditional Japanese instrument that gets to you.
So those are our picks. You can also check out our picks for the new anime titles as well!
