The live-actions serioes adaptation of Hikaru Nakamura’s Saint Young Men manga is getting a third season. And now, NHK has announced that the new series will be premiering new episodes on January 11 and January 18. Each day will sir five brand new episodes. The staff also revealed a couple of new still images from the third season as well:

As for the delayed second season’s unaired episodes, NHK will also be airing them, but after the third season’s episodes air. This will happen on January 25, 2019. The second half of the second season got delayed because of Typhoon Hagibis, which caused billions of yen worth of damage, as well as killed several people.

Live-action Gintama director Yuuichi Fukuda is returning from the second season to direct the new series. It will once again star Ken’ichi Matsuyama as Jesus and Shouta Sometani as Buddha, who are both returning from the first season.
