WWE recently visited Saudi Arabia for their Crown Jewel Pay-Per-view, and it featured plenty of matches, from the Fiend taking on Seth Rollins to Brock Lesnar taking on UFC rival, Cain Velasquez. However, one of the biggest matches was the huge 10-man tag team match between Team Hogan and Team Flair. Team Hogan featured Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ricochet, Chad Gable, and Mustafa Ali, while Team Flair featured Randy Orton, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley. Shinsuke Nakamura, and Drew McIntyre. However, it was Ricochet’s outfit for the match that caught the attention of anime fans.
Ricochet has been dubbed as “WWE’s resident superhero,” and he took that moniker to heart in his ring attire. He came to Saudi Arabia dressed up as All Might from My Hero Academia, and as usual, he wowed everyone with his fast-paced high-flying moves.
The match ended with a victory for Team Hogan after Roman Reigns hit Randy Orton with a Spear.
A lot of WWE superstars are anime fans. The biggest example is wrestler/YouTuber/ New Day member Xavier Woods, who has his own popular gaming channel, Up Up Down Down. Previously, he and The New Day dressed up as Saiyans from Dragon Ball during Wrestlemania.
