Kouji Kometa is responsible for the hit Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei manga, which inspired several anime adaptations. And when that manga ended, he worked on his latest series, Kakushigoto. Now, the manga’s recently-released Volume 10 Tankoubon release is revealing that Kakushigoto is also getting an anime adaptation! The manga listed that this new anime will indeed be a TV anime and will be coming in 2020.

Monthly Shonen Magazine’s January 2020 issue, which will hit stores on December 6, will be revealing more details on the anime. This will be the second series by Kumeta to get a TV anime adaptation, the other being his Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei series.

The comedy manga follows a mangaka named Kakushi Gotou. He is also a father, and his daughter’s name is Hime. Its story focuses on their daily lives, as Kakushi tries his best to not let his daughter find out that he’s a mangaka.
