Psycho-Pass has now ended with its eighth and final episode. However, like always, the anime ended with a cliffhanger. And now, the staff of Psycho-Pass 3 have announced that the series is getting an anime movie titled Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector.

The film will premiere sometime in Spring 2020, and will also be streaming exclusively via Amazon Prime Video outside of Japan. It will be a compilation movie, with much of the cast and staff returning from the TV series. Who-ya Extended, who performed the OP theme song for the TV anime, are also performing the film’s theme song, which is titled “Synthetic Sympathy”.

As for those who missed the TV anime, Amazon Prime Video is now streaming the series both in Japan and abroad. Production I.G. produced the series, with Naoyoshi Shiotani returning to direct. Expect them to announce more details about the movie in the days to come.
