After over five years of waiting, isekai anime, Log Horizon, is finally back! NHK announced that the series will be returning in a big way, with a third season titled Log Horizon: Fall of the Round Table. It shares the same title as the 12th volume of creator Mamare Touno’s popular light novel series.
This new season will premiere in Japan via NHK Educational starting October 2020. Much of the staff and cast are returning from previous seasons, including Takuma Terashima as Shiroe, Tomoaki Maeno as Naotsugu, Jouji Nakata as Nyanta, and Emiri Katou as Akatsuki. Shinji Ishihira is also directing the new season at Studio DEEN.
This will be the first time that Log Horizon has returned to having a TV anime since author Mamare Touna was charged with Tax Evasion in 2015. As of now, there’s not much word on this new season’s other details. However, do expect the staff to reveal more details in the days to come.
