Sega Games has announced that their popular smartphone RPG, Hortensia Saga, is getting its own TV anime adaptation. They also released a brand new announcement PV for the series. This new video reveals that LIDEN FILMS (After School Dice Club, Boarding School Juliet) is producing the animation production.

The staff also announced that MY FIRST STORY, which also performed the theme song for GOLDEN KAMUY, is performing this anime’s new theme song. In fact, the J-rock band previously performed the theme songs for the original smartphone game’s opening movies. Meanwhile, here is the upcoming anime’s new key visual:

Sega previously released Hortensia Saga for iOS and Android devices in April 2015. It is free-to-play and free-to-download, but with in-game monetary purchases. It is set in the Kingdom of Hortensia, with players taking on the role of a young feudal lord. As the game’s story progresses, the player uncovers the truth about his kingdom. Expect the staff to reveal more details about the TV anime adaptation in the days to come.
