Futaro may have already decided which sister he really loves. but The Quintessential Quintuplets manga is yet to end. And now, Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine has announced that Negi Haruba’s popular romantic comedy manga series will finally end its run in three more chapters.
Back in December, Haruba himself stated that the manga’s tankoubon version will end in Volume 14. That volume will get its release in spring 2020. Kodansha previously released the manga’s Volume 13 back in January.
The manga received a highly-popular Winter 2019 TV anime adaptation, which had 12 episodes. It’s also getting itself a second season as well.
Here’s how Kodansha describes the manga’s story:
One day, a poor high school second-year named Futaro Uesugi comes across a private tutoring gig with good pay. But his pupils are his classmates!! And they’re quintuplets!! A-and they’re all gorgeous girls, but they’re also troublemakers who hate to study and are on the verge of flunking out! And his first task is simply gaining the sisters’ trust?! Every day is a party! The curtain is rising on the Nakano quintuplets’ quirky romantic comedy with five times the cute!!
So, do you guys agree on who Futaro is marrying? Who is your favorite Nakano sister? Well, we’re certainly sad that the manga is ending, but it really had a good run.
