SUI’s Korean webtoon Tower of God is getting a Japanese TV anime adaptation. And the anime is staying loyal to its Korean roots, as an actual Kpop Group will be performing its OP song. The new OP song’s title is “SKZ2020,” and it will be released in three languages, namely Japanese, Korean, and English.

As for the anime’s release, it will be aired simultaneously in Japan, South Korea, and the United States. 19-year old member Seungmin said that “We have needed a lot of preparation to record the songs in three languages, but I think it will provide opportunities to let more people know about us.” The single itself will debut on March 18, 2020.

According to the new key visual, the new anime will premiere sometime in Spring 2020. The staff have now also launched a new Twitter page, as well as a new official website for the upcoming TV series. Unfortunately, neither the Twitter page, nor the official website, have announced any further information about this new anime so far. Expect the staff to announce more details in the days to come.

The manga follows a boy named Twenty-Fifth Bam, who is trapped beneath a mysterious tower. His only close friend is Rachel, who enters the tower and attempts to climb it. Because of this, Bam now sets out on a journey to climb the tower in order to find her.
