Kaguya-sama: Love Is War has been having quite the year in 2019. Not only did it receive a highly successful anime adaptation, it also received a popular live-action movie adaptation as well. And now, one of Japan’s largest digital bookstores, Book Walker, has announced that Aka Akasaka’s romantic comedy manga has just won the 2019 edition of its annual manga Grand Prix.

And to celebrate the big win, mangaka Aka Akasaka tweeted a message, saying “I won the grand prize of BOOK WALKER Grand Prix Awards! It encourages me to continue to work harder. I would appreciate your continued support!”. He also posted a new illustration of Kaguya Shinomiya:
