Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka’s “totally a diving manga series” Grand Blue, or Grand Blue Dreaming, is getting a live-action adaptation. And now, the staff have unveiled a brand new trailer for the upcoming movie. It previews its theme song, “Zekkyou Serenade”by sumika.
Aside from the new trailer, the staff also announced the other cast members, including a certain idol who will be playing the female lead, Chisa. They will join Ryou Ryuusei, who will play main character Iori Kitahara, and Atsuhiro Inukai is playing Kouhei Imamura. And yes folks, they are going nude!

Tsutomu Hanabusa, who also directed various live-action adaptations of other anime/manga like 3D Kanojo and Kakegurui is going to be at the helm of this new project as director. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Japan is distributing the movie. It will premiere in Japan on May 29, 2020.
