The COVID-19 Pandemic has claimed yet another movie as its latest victim. This time, it’s the live-action movie adaptation of Sumito Oowara’s Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! manga. TOHO and the movie’s production committee cited the Coronavirus pandemic as the reason for the delay. It was supposed to premiere on May 15, but the committee did promise to reveal a new release date as soon as they have decided on it.

Nogizaka46 idol group members will be playing the Eizouken members, with Minami Umezawa as Sayaka Kanamori, Asuka Saitou as Midori Asakusa, and Mizuki Yamashita as Tsubame Mizusaki. Minami Hamabe, who previously played Saki in the live-action Saki series, as well as Menma in the live-action AnoHana film, will also be starring in the film as Weather Club member, Haruko.

Tsutomu Hanabusa (live-action 3D Kanojo Real Girl) will be helming the project as director. Expect the movie’s production committee to reveal a new release date in the days to come.
