There are a ton of fake accounts anywhere on social media, and it can be dangerous for the person they’re imitating. For one thing, that fake account might announce there’s a new promotion, and people might pay for that promotion, only to find out it’s fake. Well, Weekly Shounen Jump magazine is now warning everyone that a new fake account has popped up for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s mangaka, Koyoharu Gotouge.

The account has the handle, @GotogeKoyoharu,, and it has tricked a ton of people already. This includes LiSA, the singer behind the anime adaptation’s theme song. Apparantly, she posted a tweet saying how happy she is that the mangaka finally joined Twitter. However, upon Jump’s announcement of the fake account, she deleted her tweet and replaced it with a tweet featuring the crying emoji. We’re all just human folks.

For now, it seems that the fake account has disappeared, but Jump has warned fans not to easily be deceived.
