When Eden’s Zero made its debut, fans were probably thinking that this series might get an anime adaptation. Well… they were right. Legendary mangaka Hiro Mashima, who also created Rave Master and Fairy Tail, took to Twitter to announce that his latest manga, Eden’s Zero, is also getting an anime adaptation. He even tweeted it in English for his international fans out there.

Unfortunately, Mashima did not reveal any further details. However, he did include a very special artwork to celebrate the new adaptation. This would be the mangaka’s third manga to get a TV anime. The other two are of course, Rave Master (Titled Groove Adventure Rave in the anime) and Fairy Tail.
Here’s how Kodansha describes the manga’s story:
At Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines. But one day, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park’s front gates. Little do these newcomers know that this is the first human contact Granbell has had in a hundred years! As Shiki stumbles his way into making new friends, his former neighbors stir at an opportunity for a robo-rebellion…And when his old homeland becomes too dangerous, Shiki must join Rebecca and Happy on their spaceship and escape into the boundless cosmos.
Now all we need to do is wait for further announcements…
