Animal Crossing has had a ton of activities which tie in to real life. From Black Lives Matter Protests to Free Hong Kong banners, players have certainly made their voices heard. However, one peculiar new player seems to be KFC Philippines, which has set up its own KFC-themed island. And their avatar is Colonel Sanders himself! They even dub it their “virtual store,” and it rewards players who find the Colonel with an actual bucket of KFC… in real life!

Advertising agency Oglivy actually made the account for the fastfood giant. They used diner-themed items with custom designs to feature photos of actual items sold by KFC Philippines. And yes, there are also buckets of Kentucky Fried Chicken all over the place.

As for those who want free fried chicken, they have to find the Colonel in KFC Island. He would then give the player who found him a KFC Philippines code. The player can then use the code to get an 8-piece KFC bucket in real life. This code will be available daily, and KFC Philippines Facebook Page will provide information about it. Of course, this is only limited to the Philippines.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available for the Nintendo Switch.
