My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! has been quite a hardy anime, as it has really thrived during the pandemic. Bakaterina and the gang have really made a name for themselves, as the anime has become one of the most popular titles right now. And as the anime aired its 12th and final episode, they announced that a second season is indeed happening in 2021!
Unfortunately, they did not reveal any details on when this second season will drop. However, they did reveal a new key visual featuring the child and teen versions of the main characters in the image above.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in North America. Here’s how they describe its story:
Wealthy heiress Catarina Claes is hit in the head with a rock and recovers the memories of her past life. It turns out the world she lives in is the world of the game Fortune Lover, an otome game she was obsessed with in her past life… but she’s been cast as the villain character who tries to foil the protagonist’s romances! The best ending the game has for Catarina is exile, and the worst, death! She’ll have to find a way to avoid triggering the flags of doom, and make her own happy future! The misunderstanding-based screwball love comedy now begins!
Expect the staff to announce more about this new season, such as staff, new release date, and cast, in the days to come.
