Fans have been waiting for the PlayStation 5 to come out, and they are excited. And Sony has been planning a big reveal event on June 4, which would also take a look at the PS5’s initial games lineup. But with unrest brewing in the United States following the death of George Floyd at the hands of police in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sony has decided to postpone the event.

In their statement, they feel that because of the high racial tensions, they “do not feel that right now is a time for celebration”. They also added that they “want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard.”
So far, Sony has not yet revealed any new date for the event, which was supposed to happen on June 4th.
