Polish game developer CD Projekt Red has announced that they are teaming up with renowned anime studio, Trigger. This is all for the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, which will be released for Netflix in 2022. The Cyberpunk 2077 game’s YouTube channel also released a new announcement trailer for the anime:
Hiroyuki Imaishi (Kill la Kill) will be directing the anime, with Little Witch Academia’s Yoh Yoshinari doing the character designs. As for the anime itself, they also released a new key visual:

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner—a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.
Expect Netflix to announce more details about the anime in the days to come. As for the game itself, Cyberpunk 2077 will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 19.
