Japanese retailer Rakuten has released a listing for the 6th colume tankoubon release of Youhei Yasumura’s The Dungeon of Black Company manga. It revealed the manga’s wrap-around cover, which announces that the series is getting a TV anime adaptation. The volume is set for release on July 10, 2020, and will cost 682 yen.
Not much is known about the anime as of yet, but do expect them to announce more details in the days to come. As for the manga, Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing it in English. Here’s how they describe its story:
Kinji had it made–a swank apartment, a real estate empire, and enough cash to lounge around living the good life. After a freak magical accident, he washes up in another world, all but enslaved to a crooked corporation. In a fantastical land where money is everything, there’s only one way for an Earthling to get ahead: make your fortune, by any means necessary! Dragons, goblins, and the occasional dubious potion won’t stop Kinji’s quest for the world’s biggest bank account. The Black Company is open for business!
The manga itself has entered its climax last June 5 with its 30th chapter.
