Japan’s #1 Cosplayer, Enako, reveals how much she earns after retorting to an online comment
The internet is a mean place, especially to famous people. Random commenters often talk bad things about famous people, even if they don’t know them personally. Twitter is one of those mean places. This is especially true for Japan’s #1 cosplayer herself, Enako. It seems that some person asked her if she has a boyfriend or a sugar daddy, and even said that “cosplay is a casting couch business anyway”. Saying that Enako wasn’t amused would be a bit of an understatement.

The cosplayer tweeted the thread below, and it includes her retort to the mean-spirited question. She says that she earns more than 30 million yen on her own efforts. Yes, she just dropped how much she earns with her work just to retort to a mean internet comment. She then asked the commenter “What do you know about me? What do you know about my work schedule?”. She would then say that she wants to work towards getting 60 trillion yen, but admitted that this would be quite unrealistic.
Still, Enako earning up to 30 million yen on her own isn’t farfetched at all. She is Rem’s official cosplayer for Re:Zero
