And that’s not all, because they also released a new key visual for the movie as well:
The movie will premiere in Japan on October 16, 2020. And thanks to Odex Private Ltd., it’s also coming to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Brunei. Expect Odex to reveal more details on when this will happen, as some of these countries still haven’t opened their movie theaters yet due to COVID-19.
The film itself will serve as a direct sequel to the TV anime, adapting the Mugen Train arc from the manga. Haruo Sotozaki will be returning to direct the sequel movie, as well as character designer Akira Matsushima. And yes, ufotable is once again animating it, so expect some beautiful animation sequences! As for the cast, the core main cast will be returning for the film as well.
