Saitama is known for having many hot spots, and we’re not just talking about the namesake for One Punch Man. And now, Kadokawa is adding a new one in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture on October 1. This new anime hotspot is called the EJ Anime Hotel, and it will be an interactive anime-themed concept hotel. It will feature plenty of Kadokawa anime, with themed rooms and exhibits.
The hotel will include 33 themed rooms. Each room will also come equipped with projectors, professional-quality lighting and sound equipment, and other media to create an environment very much like a theater. They will first center them around KonoSuba, A Certain Scientific Railgun, BOFURI, Uzaki-chan, and Yuuki Yuuna is a Hero. Aside from the themed rooms, they will also include event spaces, merchandise shops, and more.
EJ Anime Hotel will also feature restaurant area called “Tiam,” which patrons can also rent out for various functions like weddings and birthday parties. In addition, the hotel will also feature various other media, including manga, tokusatsu, video games, movies, and more.
Their official website will reveal more details on September 1. The hotel itself will be part of Kadokawa and Tokorozawa City’s collaboration project “Cool Japan Forest Vision”. It aims to draw foreign visitors to areas around Saitama, which is an underrated anime tourism hotspot.
